A strange gamble on the life of » man at present in prison, with a fortune at stake, will be held on May 24, when the official receiver will auction the insurance policies of E. Farrow, one of the directors of Farrow's Bank. If Farrow dies within a yoar the purchaser will clear £80,000, but if ho lives for S!0 years only a few thousands. The annual premium is £3000. Farrow is aged ftO, and is in good health.
