Watkin and Wailis hjuve received advice that the Richardson steamer Awahou left Napier yetkrday foT Auckland, via Gisborne and coast bays. The Kaikorai was expected to leave Lyttelton yesterday afternoon with a cargo of produce for Auckland direct. She is duo here on Thursday. The waterside workers will hold their usual monthly stop-work meeting thi» morning. No cargo work will be done on vessels in port until about 10 o'clock. The cargo steamer Kawatiri left Newcastle last Wednesday for Sydney, to complete loading for Fiji and Auckland. THE NAVUA. The Island steamer Navua sailed yesterday for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. Besides cargo she carried 72 passengers. She is due back at Auckland about May 19. MAKALLA ARRIVED. The Union Company advisee that the departure of the Island steamer Flora for the Eastern Pacific has been postponed until noon on Friday. TEKOA DUE 5.30 A.M. r TO-DAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company's new steamer Tekoa, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, has reported by wireless that sho will arrive here at 5.39 a.m. to-day. Ihe vessel io arriving earlier than was anticipated and will havo made the voyage from Liverpool in 36 days. She will berth at the Central Wharf to dischargo over 2500 tons of general merchandise, and will afterwards go to Wellington. Lyttelton. and Duuodm to discharge the remainder of her cargo. Sho will load for tho United Kingdom at Dunedin. Timaru, Lyttelton. and ' Wellington, leaving the last-named port for Avonmouth about the middlo of Juno. DORSET POSTPONED. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise s that the departure of tho Federal ateamer Dorset from Wellington, with pasnengors and cargo for London, has boon postponed until May 9 THE MOERAKI. The Moeraki, en route from Sydney to Auckland, reported by wireless yesterday ttu?.t she wou.d arrive at midnight hvst night. Sho had not been reported off Tiri at a late hour, but was expected to show up at any time. The port medical ofikcr will board the vessel at 7 a.m. to-day to examine tho passengers and crew.
