Hamilton, report:—At the third annual sale of young registered milking Shorthorn bulls, pedigree Jersey bulls, and pediftree Borkahire boars and sows bred by the Government at tho Ruakura farm, which was held on Thursday, there was a large attendance of buyers and spectators. Refreshments were provided by the farm authorities. The quality of tho Ruakura stock is well known, and with tho right culling and introduction of new blood it occupies a very, important position in the Dominion. The boasts were very fine specimens of their respective breeds and their good condition was remarked upon. Competition was very keen, with satisfactory prices.
