ONEHUNGA ORPHANS' CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Onehunga Orphans' Club was held last evening in the club's new hall, and was well attended. Mr. A. McOoll presided. The report stated that there were 135 member?, besides associate members of the orchestra. The finances showed a credit balance of £38 14s, and a surplus of assets over Ik bilities of £123. A benefit concert, promoted by the club on behalf of the Onehunga Benevolent Society, bad realised over £100. Officers were elected *s follows: —Patron. Mr. J. Park; president, Mr. R. H. Gibbons; vice-presidents, Messrs. E. V. Sutherland, T. H. Pardington s H. J. Davies, A. MacGregor; committee, Messrs. P. Hempleraan, R. J. Speight, J. W. McLarin, T. R. Gilbert, S Brown, R. Dillicar, Len. Bray, and J. Grant; choir conductor, Mr. D. Black; orchestra, Mr. H. Hardy; auditor, Mr. T. Bassett; treasurer, Mr. A. G. Houldsworth; secretary, Mr. C. A. Osborne.
