Mr. Justice Stringer will arrive v from Wellington this morning.
The Rev. A. Douil, of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Palmerston North ' has resigned owing to ill-health.
Mr. J. Caughley, director of edncatioa, who has been Auckland on depart! mental business, has returned to Wellington.
Captain A. W. Brocks, M.C., chief instructor in physical and recreational training, will return to England shortly to rejoin his regiment.
Mr. Archibald Dougall, chief engineer to the Wellington Gas Company, has resigned his position after 12 years' service with tho company.
Mr. F. W. Barnett, for nearly 25 years a member cf tho staff of the "Valuation Department headquarters at Wellington, is about to resign his position. He intends taking up his residence at Cambridge.
The Rev. R. L. Walker, for manv years minister oi' St. James' Presbyterian Church., who went to Scotland a year or two ago for health reasons, is returning to New Zealand by the Ruahine. He is expected to arrive about May 20. Mr. Walker's health is now fully restored, and ho intends to take up pastoral work again.
