FRANKLIN SHOW.
SUCCESSFUL EXHIBITION. FINE DISPLAY Of STOCK. BALANCE OF AWARDS. The Franklin Show was concluded in wet, weather. There was a very huge attendance, including the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister tor Public Works, and Mr. B. F. Bollard, M.P. The special trains from Auckland and the Waikato oonveved large crowds. The show of stock in all classes was excellent, Mr. W. Louden's Monavale Ruby Pa:;ton was awarded the championship for dairy cows. Tlie hunters' competitions attracted large fields, a.ud iu spite of the greasy state of the -round some fine jumping was witnessed. Mr. R P. '.Seal's Nigger secured the hunters' championship, and Mr. J. Townsend's Dan the champion hack ribbon. The harness horse championship was won by Mr. K. H.
