PERFORMANCES AT BRISBANE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Eecd. 5.30 p.m.) BRISBANE. Feb. 26. At the Brisbane cycling meeting, in which the South Africans competed, Munro (Queensland) loweisd tho halfmile unpaced Queensland record by threefifths of a second, his time being 60jS. Thursfield (South Africa) subsequently covered the distance in 59 3-10s. The one milo international scratch raco resulted :-•- Thursfield, 1; Kaltenbrun (South Africa), 2 j Munro, 3. Thursfield won by a- narrow margin in 2m 4 3-ss. In an international pursuit race, Kaltenbrun won from Muir by two lengths. A five-mile international scratch race resulted:—Munro, 1; Stidwell, 2; Kaltenbrun, 3. The winning time was 12m 255.
