•» LADY BEQUEATHS £10,000. A. and N.Z. LONDON, Feb. 24. The daughter of Sir James Garrick, a former Agent-General for Queensland, left an estate of £28,523. She bequeathed £10,000 to the University of Queensland for a professorship, either of law or medicine, in memory of her father.
