Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 6.80 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 23. The marriage ceremony of Princess Mary to Viscount Lasoelleß .will begin at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday next. The Marys of the Empire have given the Princess a beautiful rope of pearls. About £8000 was subscribed. The Princess first asked that all the money be given to a philanthropic object. She then expressed a wish that only a few hundred pounds should be epent on jewellery for herself and the rest devoted to the Girl Guides' movement, particularly to aid the establishment of a training camp for leaders and.a hospital camp for girls requiring a rest in the country. The Princess thus hopes to benefit a movement that is extending in all the Dominions and touches the entire girlhood of the Empire, Owing to the general wish of the subscribed tho organisers epent considerably more upon the personal present than the Princets suggested. The rope falls to the waist find ia strung with beautiful pearls of the same size and colour aa ( those of the shorter necklet familiar in photographs of the Princess.
