WELLINGTON. Thursday. With much of tho iuterest dissipated and tho Prime Minister anxious to clinch tho matter by replying, tho dobato ou tho Financial Statement continued throughout this afternoon and well into tho evening. Tho preliminary proceedings were brief and largely featureless. Tho debato was resumed promptly and tho number of members anxious to speak proved larger than had been anticipated. Tho proceedings wore 011 until 11.25 p.m., when the debato was onco moro adjourned and tho House rose.
