FRACTURED JAW SUSTAINED.

Injuries caused by a horse were responsible for Uie admission to the hospital last oveniug of Mr. Reginald Wheeler, a young farmer residing at Brookby, near Manurewa. Mr. Wheeler, who is 21 years of age and unmarried, was endeavouring to catch a horse in a looscbox in the afternoon, when the animal swung round, forcing him against the sido of the stall. On his admission to the hospital at 10 p.m. it was ascertained that his jaw had been fractured and that he bad received painful scalp wounds.
