Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Rocd. 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 7. The death is announced of R. A. W. Green, ex-champion sculler, at the ago of 85. 6

It i 3 nearly 50 years ago that R. A. W. Green was sent from New South Wales to row against R. Chambers, who was then champion of England. The race was rowed on June 16, 1863, and Green, who was not well, was beaten.
