WASHINGTON CONFERENCE.
ABSENCE OF DOMINIONS.
MR. MASSEY'S COMMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Ansociation. (Beod. 11.30 p.m.) OTTAWA. Sept. 6. Interviewed at Cobalt, Ontario, Mr. W. F. Massey said that the next war would be fought in the Pacific as the centre of activities. The Washington conference on armaments would not be complete without the representation of New Zealand and Australia, but owing to the fact that the Parliaments of both Dominions would be sitting while the conference was in session, he doubted if either would be in a position to send delegates. He added that he favoured renewal of the AngloJapanese alliance.
