BREACHES OF BY-LAWS.
The weekly list of by-law cases was much shorter than usual, the majority of the charges being in respect of minor breaches. For driving a motor-car in Fort Street in a manner dangerous to the public, George Leslie Cooch was fined £3 and costs. Several other defendants were fined amounts ranging from 10a to £1 for various breaches.
For having committed an indecent act in Fort Street, Albert Johnson was fined £5.
