ANNIVERSARY SOCIAL.
The twenty-third anniversary social of Knox Church. Parnell,. was " hold last evening, the Rev. James" Ings presiding ove r a large attendance. Under the direction of Mr. J. F. Bennett a most en Movable programme of vocal, instrumental, and concerted numbers was rendered bv Miss Natalina McCallum and Miss Ruby Burke, Messrs. Robert Geddes, M. Goldstine, and J. Emanuel, and elocutionary items were rendered by pupils of Mrs. C. C. Forsyth. The items were received with warm applause. Refreshments were provided by ladies of the congregation.
