HAWKE'S BAY MEETING. CONCLUDING DAY'S RACING. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] HASTINGS, Saturday. The Hawke'a Bay meeting was concluded to-day in beautiful weather, end a large attendance was recorded. The sum of £38,468 was put through the totalisator, the grand total (or the three days being £95,097, against £47,205 at the two days' meeting held last year. The following were the rcaulte:— HUNTERS' STEEPLECHASE, two miles. -Sturdee, 12st-21b (H. Dorigan), I; Sandringham,' lOst 12lb, 2; Bollin, list 4lb, 3. Also fltartod: Tornca, Ncfische, Patarika, freehold. Tome*, Sturdee, and" Sandringham was tho order passing the stand. At the back stretch Sturdee moved up into first place, with Sandringham noxt. Tome* ran off at tho jump near tho railway bend, Sturdee led into the straight and won easily by . l 3, lengths; six lengths between second and third Tune, 4m 27 l-5». Nefische fell.
FERNHILL HACK HURDLES, one mile and a-half-Sir Agnes, 9st Qjlb (J. Roach), 1; Mannish, lOst 2lb. 2; Raumanuwhiri, 9st w' 3 -, Also started: Signysian, Retard, M»rw»al Neil], Risingham, Convention, Raffle. Signysian was first to show in front, and led passing tho stand, but stumbled and lost his rider at tho Southland Road bend. Sir Agnes then took up tho running to the back. Mannish was momentarily in the lead at the railway bend, where Sir Agnes again took charge, and the latter, romping away, won by six lengths; four leneths between second and thud. Time, 2m 595.
TUROMAE HANDICAP HURDLES, one mile and three-quarters.— list 10lb (S. Honderaon). 1; Paddinston Green, lOst 101b. 2; Ore Ore, 9st 71b, 3. Also started: Goldstroam, Mill o' Gowno, Deviation, Gunwale, Rekanui. Deviation led past the stand, where Rekanui ran off and Coldstream fell. Deviation and Paddington Green were prominent to the straight, with Thrace and Ore Oro handy. In the run home Thrace took command and won comfortably by a length from Paddington Green, with Ore Ore third, four lengths away. Time, 3m 36 2-os.
JUNE STEEPLECHASE, two miles and a-half.

Also started: Luke, Foainan, Cuanaco, John Bunny. . Polthoguc. Juan. Oaltleigh, Old Muncindi, Notability. .Maira, Totara,. Harbour Light, Pawcrewerc, Manhattan.
The big field was sent away on even terms, Ouanaco taking charge, with John Bunny, Juan, and Old Mungindi in close attendance. At the first jump in the straight Foeman fell, and Harbour Light came down at the next. Guanaco Jed past the stand, but running up the back ho fell, and Maractotara followed Bint. First Line, Ormesby, nnd Wirokino were the order in the straight, and the former lasted long enough to win by a length and a-half, Wirokino beating Ormesby by a length for second place. Time, 5m 21n.
LADIES* NECKLACE, one mile and aquarter.—Piro Pito, 10st 81b (Mr. Toiward), 1; Ethiopian, lOat 71b, 2; Army Service, DsUlb, 3. Also (started: Tatirai. Loci Dim. Ethiopian took charge nt the back, but Piro Piro led into the straight and won easily by six length*: half a length between second and third. Time, 2m 23 l-sa.
SOUTRA HACK HANDICAP, nix furlongs Mid a-lialf.—Molyncaux, Out IMb (M. MoCarton), 1; Soa Foam, flat 13lb, 2; Moethenea. lOst lib, 3. Also started: Hymarty. Black Lake, The Digger. Pretty Mickey, Elevate, Lord Astolat, Willys Knight, Woodlark. Larkspur, Negambo, Kyoto. Black Lake led the field at a merry paco to tho entrance to tho straight, up which a great race ensued between Molyncaux, Sea Foam, and Mosthenes, the former gaining tho verdict by half a length from Sea Foam, with MostheriM a neck away third. Time, lm 27 2-ss.
FINAL HANDICAP, six furlongs and anaif.—Gold Kip. list 10!b (H, Robinson). 1; Sir Fanciful, 9st 131b, 2; Goldfhinc. Oat lllb, rt. Also . started: Hyginas, Rawakorc, Parisian Diamond, Honey Roe, Hookah, Croesus, Incomo, Vermillion, Prince CharleToi. Honey Bee led to the straight, where the rest of the field w»a well together. Hold Gip and Sir Fanciful then forged ahead, the former winning by a. length. Coldshine was half a length away third. Time, lm 26 1-53.
GRAND NATIONAL WINNER. A TRAGIC END. A.' and N.Z. LONDON, Juno 06. While engaged in contesting a hurdle raco at the Paris meeting, the Liverpool Grand National Steeplechase winner. Troytown, fell and a fractured leg being tho outcome the animal was destroyed. Troytown was.ownod by Major Gerrard.
