FINAL CONCERT IN CLUB ROOM.

The final concert in the club room established on the Queen's Wharf by the Auckland branch of the Navy Leapue for the entertainment of the men on the Renown was held on Saturday evening, when a very enjoyable programme wan (submitted. There was u largo attendance, including the Mayor and Mayoress. The arrangements in connection with the rlub room have been excellently carried out during the warship's visit and the men have, expressed high appreciation of the hospitality extended to them.

About 100 petty officers and men from the Renown were entertained at a smoke concert) by nwrnbors of the Auckland Workingmen's Club last week. The gathering was held in the Society of Arts IJall, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. A number of boys from the I-enown. under 18 years of are. were entertained at the Y.M.C.A. by the matron find resident members. The vis'tors went welcomed by tho president, Mr. C, .1. Titnki, and the "general rocretaiy, Mr. A. S. W!l----son. After tea the boys were entertained with songs, recitation?, mid j»:imp*. At the conclusion of the games supper was served by l he ladies' auxiliary.
