WATTTL The following information has been cabled to tho head office of the Waihi Company in London:—No. 9 level, Empire lode, north, section The drive east from the Poper north-west crosscut has been extended from 121 ft *o 143 ft, the lode being 4ft wide and the value 2s 3d per ton. No. 10 level, Emire lode, north section: The drive west from the Soldier's crosscut has been extended from 76ft to 100 ft. The width of the lode is about oft with the south wall in. hand, and the value is lis 9d per ton.
