Hodder rilled the vacancy *and an additional 40 runs were obtained before .Leet met a similar fate through Burns making a smart return. Monrad was the next batsman and at 141 he was (riven put leg before to Jaggs just before the luncheon . adjournment. On resuming, M. Hodder partnered his brother end the score ■ was ' raised to 185 when K. Hodder was caught at the wickets by Kelly. Tovey followed and the' board showed 207 when. M. Hodder was bowled by Badeley. The remaining four wickets added only 15 runs, the innings closing for 22%- ' Grammar School commenced its innings by sending m Badeley and Punning, the former taking strike to Harrison, a good fast bowler. Three runs came off the over and then K. Hodder bowled from the other end. Seven more runs had been obtained' when he bowled Dunning. Postles filled the vacancy, and Harrison took Badeley's wicket with the second ball of his second over. Stretton joined Postles, and at 23 the latter was run out through Leet returning the ball smartly. Kelly was the next batsman, and the tea adjournment followed a few minutes later. On resuming, Harrison bowled Stretton with his first ball. Jaggs, who followed, was similarly dismissed by K. Hodder, the total being 24. Macklow was caught by Stockwell in the slips almost immediately. Goodacre and Kelly then became associated, and they carried the score to 70 before the former was caught by Sollitt. Lintott followed, and 83 showed on the board when , he returned the ball to Harrison. Burns joined Kelly, arid at 109 he was also caught. SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION: The B grade competitions of the Auckland Suburban Cricket Association, which were interfered with owing to rain last Saturday, will be continued at the Domain to-morrow afternoon- An A and B match will also be played to select a team to represent the association against country teams at Christmas timeA triangular contest between the Auckland ' Suburban. Association and the Whangarei I and Waikato Associations will be oomT menced at the Domain on. .Christinas Day. The Waikato and Whangarei Associations I will play the first match, and the winners will meet the Auckland representatives on Boxing Day. A team, which will include players from Whangarei and Waikato, will then be selected to play the Auckland representative team at Eden Park on December 27.
