'■'.''' • ■ ''*•* <»-—; ; The One-tree Hill Road Board met last evening, there being present: Messrs. H. Dobbie, chairman, T. Howe, R. G. Clark, IF., Chapman, E. H. Rhodes, and C. L. Slyfield. v The clerk, Mr. Hogg, reported that the i balance-sheet for the year ended March 31, ,1919, had been returned from the Audit Office without a tag. "I take it," ; said the. chairman, " that that is'a ' feather in your cap.' " " Well," replied Mr. Hogg, "it is something to be exceedingly proud of to have a balance-shee- of that size returned as absolutely correct." Mr. 'Chapman. Mr. Rhodes, and the chairman were appointed a sub-committee to go into the question of overhanging hedges. Mr. Rhodes, Mr. Rowe, and the chairman were appointed a deputation to wait on the Fire Underwriters' Association with reference to the fire insurance rates. 'Mr. SICE..
