LADT DOCTOR'S BEQUEST. PROVISION FOR RESEARCH WORK. [BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Wellington Hospital Board to-day received notice that the late Dr. Edith Huntley had left the whole of her estate except legacies of personal effects, the sum of £400, and an annuity of £100 in favour of he*r sister — the creation, maintenance, and* endowment of an institution or institutions for the care and treatment of expectant mothers, and for the promotion of research into the means of lessening the pain and peril of childbirth and of the use and development of modern alleviations and for the teaching and training of pupils in midwifery.
