RESIDENTIAL FLATS.

<3> A DEVONPORT SCHEME. In satisfaction of the present demand for residential flats, which has been stimulated by the keen competition foe separate residences, a scheme is put forward for the formation of a company to purchase a property on King Edward Parade, Devonport, and complete upon it the erection of- a three-storey block. The site chosen is on the harbour frontage, abont six minutes' walk from the Victoria Wharf. The proposed building is to be of concrete, and the scheme provides for 12 suites of Sats, each with its own kitchenette, bathroom, and other conveniences, including electric light and telephone connection. Every suite will have at least one room and a balcony facing the harbour.
