Cardinal Mercier, returning to Belgium j from the United States, remarked, in an -j interview in London, that he read with J pain the British decision to leave Russia. | "We cannot have peace in the world '. ■until there is peace in Russia," he said. ■ "The repercussion of the revolution is re- , sponsible for the unrest in Belgium, ; France, and Italy, and is affecting the j whole world. ! "In my humble opinion the Allies are > ' duty bound to continue to support Admiral Koltchak, General Denikin, or any other = approved friend of order. All the Allies should help to restore order. If they fail to do so Russia will' assuredly fall under * | the domination of Germany."
