BANK CLERK'S DEATH.
EFFECTS OF REVOLVER SHOT. [BY TELEGRAPH. — CORRESPONDENT.] TE AWAMUTU., Wednesday. An inquest was held to-day, before Mr. H. B. Ryder and a jury, concerning the death of a returned soldier, E. V. Kerry, single, aged 32 years, who was found shot deaa in a boardinghouse on Monday night with a bullet wound in the forehead. He had been employed as a clerk in the bank, and had been in ill-health. A. verdict was returned that deceased met his death as the result of a revolver shot, self-inflicted, but the jury was not satisfied from the evidence whether death was accidental or not.. 1 * • i
