RETURNING SOLDIERS.
MAMARI DUE TO-NIGHT. ( MEN DISEMBARK TO-MORROW. AUCKLANDERS NUMBER 500. The transport Mamari, with draft No. 274, is cine to reach Auckland at eight o'clock this evening. The vessel will berth to disembark the troops about . 9 i a.m. to-morrow, provided she is passed by the health authorities. Of the 1066 men on board a total of 500 belong to the i. Auckland district. A special direct train will leave for Wellington at 3 p.m. tomorrow, with the Southern section of the " draft. The usual arrangements for wel--3 coming the men have been made.. The Volunteer Motor Corps will provide cars 1 to take the Auckland soldiers to their 3 homes. c THE TRANSPORT SOMERSET. . A wireless message has been received from the transport Somerset, with a reIt turning draft of 273 men, stating that she is now duo to arrive at Lytteiton at daylight on Wednesday next.
