SEEKING OUTSIDE SUPPORT, HELP OF OVERSEAS UNIONS. DELAY TO PRINZESSIN. By Telegraph— Association— (Kccoired 2.15 a.m.) A. sad N.Z. . SYDNEY, Aug;. 18. The executive of the Seamen's Union is endeavouring .to secure the co-operation of overseas unions to prevent vessels strike-breaking. A meeting of seamen has been called for Tuesday night to discuss the taking of such action. The move is the outcome of six of the Prinzessin's firemen leaving the vessel and preventing its sailing. They alleged that the Prinzessin was being used to replace the "Makura and the Niagara.
