WAIWERA MAN MISSING.
LEAVES IN AN OPEN BOAT NON-ARRIVAL IN AUCKLAND, FEARS FOR' HIS SAFETY Fears are entertained for the safety of Mr. H. Duke, of Waiwera, who left th k place on Saturday evening n an * sailing-boat by himself, with the intention of coming to Auckland, and has not sin been seen or heard of. Mr. Duke wag the bearer of a communication to a res; dent of Auckland, and this has not v«» been delivered. Mr. Duke is a aood yachtsman, and has been used to sailhT boats for a number of years. When ?» left Waiwera the wind was blowjJ strongly from the northward, and there was a strong tide-rip outside the head, there. Mr. Duke is a married man, hia wife and five children residing at Wai wera.
