ONE YEAR'S IMPRISONMENT.
CHARGE OP FALSE PRETENCES. Alfred D. Grant, who was sentenced on February 24 to two years' imprisonment for false pretences and was also declared an habitual criminal, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Hosking on Saturday to a year's imprisonment on each of two further charges of false pretences, tho sentences to be concurrent and to date from the termination of the sentence imposed on February 24.
