PROFESSOR NICHOLLS, OP BOSTON. The oitizena of Auckland are to have the privilege of hearing in the Town Hall on Sunday afternoon Professor John A. Nicholls, 'late of the Boston University, -who is described as a brilliant platform' orator. Professor Nicholls has taken a very prominent part in the prohibition campaigns of the United States, and has also lectured throughout England and Scotland. It is said that he possesses tho ability to size up an audience at a glance, and can utter more words in a minute than ninety-nine out of every one hundred | men on the platform. In addition to thei i Town Hall meeting, Professor Nicholls will speak in the Strand Theatre at 7.30 on Sunday evening.
