X short service was conducted by Archdeacon Cowie at St. Peter's Church, ar-d at the graveside. There was a larja attendance, including Mr. Justice Coopc, jmemn.ers of the legal profession, tb» Mayor and councillors, police and coub officials, and many others, Flor tributes were sent by numerous frisods of deceased. AN AUCKLAND TRIBUTE. A tribute to the memory of the late M?« E. Rawson, S.M., who died at HamilM ion Wednesday, was paid by Mi:. J. ii. Wilson, S.M., at the Police Court y*<terday.
