PORT DARWIN DISTURBANCE
REASON FOR CENSORSHIP. A. and N.Z. MELBOURNE. Dec. 23. The Federal Minister for Defence, Mr. G. F. Pearce explain? that news of the Darwin riot was censored because the first advices indicated that there had been an armed rising.
