PICTURE THEATRE HOURS.
DISCUSSION BY CABINET. UNABLE TO VETO RESTRICTIONS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.] WELLINGTON. Monday. The restrictions imposed on picture theatre hours by the amended Public Health Act were considered by Cabinet today. The Acting-Prime Minister stated subsequently that the Government had no power to ignore such a law passed by Parliament.
