Richardson, conveying Christmas greetings from the army abroad:—"All ranks in the United Kingdom send Christmas and New Year greetings to their relations and comrades in New Zealand, and aro happy at tho thought of rejoining you very soon.'' Sir James Allen has also received the following messago from the officer commanding a troopship returning via Panama:—"On behalf of the troops on board I thank you for your kind message."
