The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., reports:— We submitted and sold average catalogues of hides and tallow, etc., on Tuesday, Hides: Extra stout ox, lljd to 12d; stout ox, 101 d to lid: medium ox, fljd tolOfd: light ox, 9d to 0;d; cows, best lines, to BJd; good, 8)d to Bid: inferior. 7d to 7sd; kips, Old to 10Sd; calf skins, 1.2 d to Wjd: good, lOjd to 1 Ida cut and damaged, sjd to 7id; sines, old to Gjd; horse hides, 5s to 10s Gd. Tallow: Best mixed, to 335; good, 29s to 80s 6d; inferior, 24s to 27s 6d; rough fat, lid to 2d per lb. Bones: £7 Ho, Cow tails: Is dozen. Horsehair: Is to Is 6d.
