WAIHI-PAEROA. RETURN OF £4750. The Waihi-Pasroa Gold Extraction Com* I pany, during the period ended May 3-, treated 20,300 tons of tailings for * return of bullion valued at £4750. Compared with the return for the corresponding period of last year, when 17,400 tons yielded £6460. this shows a decrease of £1700. The company has now treated 878.900 tons of tailings for bullion valued at £268,611. The' total amount of dividends paid to date is £18,750. ? — MOUNT GREENLAND. _ The secretary of the Mount Greenland Gold Quarts Mining Company, Ltd.. reports that for the 13 weeks ending April 29 the company treated 165 tons of quarts for * return of £809 16s Bd. ' A second dividend o* 6d a share was paid on May 1. • MINE MANAGERS* REPORTS. Waitangi: .During the past week drivina and stopmg in No. 2 level have been in progress. The drive on the main reef has been extended sft. The country dividing the footwall and the hangingwall portion of the reef is still hard, and' intermixed with quarts v ,, Stopingin the west end of the- new block, the reef in No.' 3 stone has" been stripped 12ft. we are now shootine down the reef, which is about 6ft wide.
