BAD WEATHER COMING.
FORECAST BY MR C. L. WRAGGE. The folio w-ng weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge at 6 p.m. yesterday :—
" The weather will continue fair, or fine, for a while longer owing to the abnormal persistence with which the anticyclonic or high pressure ridge maintains its position. This barometric crest is retarding or blocking off the incoming depression, which is overdue; but by meteorologic law this state of affairs cannot last much longer, and indications point to a lengthy spell of unsettled and rainy conditions when the pressure gives way. Meantime winds light and variable, but northerlies are expected soon. Sea moderate."
