FIGURES FOR AMERICA. Pinter. NEW YORK, Jan. 30. The Germans sank 69 American ships, mostly sailing vessels, last year, totalling 171,000 gross tons. This is offset by tho seizure of 515,000 tons of enemy shipping. America also requisitioned 426 ships, aggregating 2,000,000 tons, and awarded contracts for' 884 new vessels. -
