Tho number of births last month f was 260. as compared with 288 in Janu- . ary, 191/, a decrease of 28. Deaths last . month totalled 113, as against 119 in 1917, a decrease of six, and marriages numbered 79, a decrease of one, compared with ' those of January, 1917. The number of 1 marriages by the registrar was 24, the • same as in the corresnonding month of • last year.
