Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 0.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, Jan. 30. The flood continues to rise at Rockhampton, claiming further victims. Rescue parties saved many families. Attempts to communicate with Marlborough and St. Lawrence failed.
