YOUNG GIRL MISSING.

STRANGE ' DISAPPEARANCE. AN INVERCARGILL' MYSTERY. (JY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] INVERCARGILL. Wednesday. A domestic named Annie Casey, 17 years of age, disappeared unaccountably on Sunday. The girl, who was in the employ of Mrs. Stewart, of South Hillend, on Sunday rode to her parents' home at Centre Bush, eight miles distant. On returning in the evening she was accompanied part of the way by a girl friend Later Miss Casey overtook a gig driven by Mr. W. Crowe, and she rode in his company for a short distance. She then cantered towards Mrs. Stewart's residence.

Next morning the girl's horse was found in the paddock, the saddle and bridle being hung up in the usual place. There was, however, no trace of Miss Casey. Her bed had not been slept in, nor had her effects being touched. Search parties have been out, but have found no trace of her so far. The missing girl wae in good spirits all dav on Sunday, and was not known to be In trouble of any kind.
