COCHRANE.-On January 27. at Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, after a long illness, Mary, the dearly-beloved daughter of the late William and Mary Tetley. of Paeroa, and only lister of Mis, George Hill, Buckland; aged 37 years.At rest. DAWES.—On January SO. at a- private hospital, Auckland, as result of accident at Tuakau railway station, William Linney, only son of H. J. and Mary Dawes: aged 30 years. GILLETT.—On December ,9. 1917, drowned at sea (torpedoed). Richard, the beloved husband of Ethel Louise Gillett, and second son of Richard and Anne Gillett, of The Drive. Epsom; aged 42 years. RHODES.— January 18. at her late residence, Melrose. Ocean Street, Bondi. N.8.W., Ann Taylor Rhodes, widow of the late William Rhodes, formerly of Auckland.
