waihi, .: ANOTHER Is DIVIDEND. The Waihi Gold Mining Company has d*> clared another dividend, the 99th, of Is ,v share. This will be payable on March. 1 next, and will absorb £24,795 7s, bringing the total dividends and bonuses declared to date to £5,003,727 lOg Bd. '. : NORTH BLACKWATER. - IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT. . [BY TELEGRAPH.—PBESS ASSOCIATION.] EEEFTON. Wednesday. An important development in the North Blackwater Mine, Eeefton, is reported. The main shaft having been completed to a depth of 1360 ft, crosscutting. was commenced at the bctttom level. The well-known Blackwater line of reef was intersected 'at a point'lßft in the crosscut, in the form of a leader fan wide, showing visible gold. At 119 ft ■ a strong, well-defined reef was cut. lGin wide. Four assays from the reef gave a very satisfactory average. Crosscutting is still in progress to intersect tbe main. Blaqkwater reef, which it is expected to meet within a total distance of 300 ft from the shaft. The development is the most important that has taken place on the field for several years.,
