ONEHUNGA BOROUGH.

THE Onehunga Borough Council met last night, Mr. H. J. Davies presiding. It was decided to obtain a legal opinion from the solicitor to the Municipal Association in reference to the appeal lodged by Mr. J. J. Boyd against the judgment depriving him of his position as Mayor; also an opinion regarding inspection of the lions' cages at the Onehunga Zoo. in order to test their strength.
