Private Knight, who was 21 years of age. was born in Adelaide, South Australia, and camato New Zealand with his parents eleven years ago, After completing his school career, he entered the office of Messrs. Jackson and Russell, and on matriculating two years ago took up the study of law at the Auckland University College. -He left with the nineteenth reinforcements and on reaching England was transferred to the signallers, being company signaller in the Fourth Brigade aV the time of his death.
