! Waihi Extended: The eastern crosscut at No. 7 level has been advanced 15ft, makinz its total .length 129 ft. Quartz veins are numerous, and the country rock is favourable. It is estimated that, at the present rate of working, this crosscut will reach the No. 2 lode in about 10 weeks. Go'den Belt: The south face of J<o. 1 level has been' advanced lift. The footwall lias left ihe main lode, and the quartz is improving. The south rise has been extended Oft. Wa.iotahi: Stoping on the leader from the surface level is in progress.
