Bosnian soldiers with machine-guns surrounded the inner city, and strongly occupied all the bridges. The strikers massed in the outer portions of the capital were not allowed to enter the inner city. Street traffic was suspended, and the shops closed. Thirty members of the Labourers, Soldiers, and Students' Union were arrested before the strike. PETROGRAD, Jan. 27.
