TREATMENT AT ROTORUA.

NO BRITISH OFFICERS. A short time ago a request was received from the Imperial authorities that British Army officers might receive treatment at Rotorua. The matter was considered by Cabinet, and a favourable reply sent. Referring to this matter a few days ago the Minister for Public Health, the Hon. G. W. Russell, said a cablegram had now been received from tho Secretary of State for the Colonies stating that the Army Council expresses warm appreciation of the offer of tho New Zealand Government, but stating that, as a result of inpuiries addressed to the administrative headquarters of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force it was ascertained that there was no accommodation available nil lios-. pita! ship 3 or transport leaving for New a Zealand except for sick aud wounded , members of the New Zealan* Forces.
