IRISH NATIONALISTS.

NEW PARTY DEVELOPING.

LONDON. August 6. A sjiaix, minority of the Nationalists is preparing to form a new party if the convention fails. A letter has been written to Mr. Redmond outlining the programme, the chief points of which are self-government of all Ireland on the lines of Scuth Africa and Australia, adherence to constitutional methods, and an appeal to the Peace Conference if the convention adopts such a constitution and the Government declines to carry it out. Mr. Edward De Valera has changed his tone since he was elected for East Clare, He states that Sinn Fein has been misrepresented as red revolutionary, whereas it is merely revolting against the recent leadership of the Nationalist Party.
