DESTINATION A SECRET. PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFETY. (Received 11.30 p.m.) Reuter. PETROGRAD. August 15. The ex-Tsar and his family have been removed from Tsarskoye Selo to a destination which will be announced later Complete secrecy shrouds the removal, which was resolved upon in the middle of July upon political and military grounds by the Provisional Government without consulting the Council of Workmen and Soldiers Delegates. Every precaution was taken to ensure the safe removal of the ex-Tsar.
Tsarskoye Selo is a town 15 miles south of Petrograd, which contains buildings which previously formed an Imperial residence. , .
