WASHINGTON, June 14 The Senate has finally passed the "Urgent Deficiency Bill, which appropriates £656,200,000 for naval and military use. (Eec. 1.15 ajn.) WASHINGTON. June 15. It is estimated that the Liberty War Jjo&n will be over-subscribed. An additional £5,000,000 has been lent to Britain, making a total of £100,000,000 for Britain and £109,000,000 for the allies. It is officially announced that the aircraft programme has been much enlarged and definite plans perfected to gain air supremacy for the allies. SUBMARINE CHASERS. BUILDING HURRIED ON. WASHINGTON. June 14. The Navy Department has announced that more than triple the number of submarine chasers will be ready in August and several hundreds will be in service by January, a month ahead of.scheduled time. A JAPANESE MISSION. WASHINGTON, June 14. Mr. Lansing, Secretary for State, is offi- . cially advised that the Japanese mission to America will be headed by Baron KikuJJtt, formerly Minister for Foreign Affairs. CONTROL OF PAPER, WASHINGTON.
